Midlands Knee and Shoulder Service

Based at Spire Parkway Hospital Solihull, Birmingham we are a group of private Orthopaedic Surgeons who between us have 50 years experience of providing advice and treatment for patients suffering from a wide variety of knee and shoulder disorders.

By collaborating together we believe we can provide an enhanced service for those patients suffering from disorders including arthritis, dislocations, tendon injuries and tears, ligament & meniscal injuries and bursitis.

We are experienced in advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, traditional open surgery and the various joint replacements for specific problems. Following a discussion and examination we are able to advise on special investigation that may be appropriate and ultimately the most appropriate way to deal with the problem.

For some patients it may be best to have trial of conservative treatment by way of injections, medication or physiotherapy and if you do not know or have your own physiotherapist we are backed up by a dedicated team of physiotherapist at Parkway who themselves have an interest in treating problems affecting the shoulder and knee.

For other patients it may be best to proceed directly to early surgery and this can be discussed and planned at the time of the initial consultation.
